Course Overview
Aim
To instruct delegates on correctly determining their roles and responsibilities when undertaking the duties of a Level Crossing Attendant.
NO OF DELEGATES
Up to a maximum of 8.
COURSE PRE-REQUISITIES
Must hold a current Sentinel Track Safety Card endorsed with either IWA or COSS Competence.
OBJECTIVE
At the end of this course, delegates will be able to:
Demonstrate their understanding and ability to operate Level Crossing Barriers correctly, in line with Rule Book Module GERT 8000 – TW8 Issue 4.

Course Outline
Outline course sessions, hours of attendance and all relevant training centre information, including fire drill, first aid provisions and facilities.
Delivery
The course will be presented by trainers in the classroom, using the accompanying Visual Aids and video, supplemented by Practical Operation of Barriers.
Competency
The instruction will be followed by theory and practical assessments successful delegate’s will have a new card issued by NCCA endorsed with AOD (LXA).
